Fashions I Love at Any Age

(Because Style Doesn’t Expire)

I’ve lived long enough to know this: fashion rules change, trends come and go — but style is personal, and it doesn’t have an expiration date.

At 68, I’m not dressing to look younger.
I’m dressing to feel confident, comfortable, and like myself.

This isn’t about chasing what’s “in.” It’s about the pieces I reach for again and again because they work — at any age, and in real life.

What I Look for Now (And Why It Works)

These days, I choose clothing that:

  • Feels good on my body

  • Moves with me instead of fighting me

  • Looks polished without effort

Fewer pieces. Better choices.

The Pieces I Always Come Back To

1. Pull-On Pants That Don’t Look Like Pull-On Pants

If something pinches, tugs, or needs constant adjusting, I’m not interested.

A great pair of pull-on pants with stretch gives structure without discomfort — and works with everything from a simple tee to a dressy top.

2. One-Piece Outfits That Do the Work for You

Dresses and jumpsuits are my secret weapon.

One decision. One piece. Done.

They skim instead of cling, look intentional, and make getting dressed easy — which is exactly how I like it.

3. The Power of a Good Topper

When in doubt, add a topper.

A cardigan, jacket, or wrap can take a simple outfit from “fine” to finished — and it does it above the waist, where it actually matters on camera and in real life.

4. Accessories That Carry the Outfit

I don’t pile them on — I choose one thing that makes sense.

A great necklace, a pair of statement earrings, or a structured tote can elevate the simplest outfit without trying too hard.

What I’ve Stopped Buying

I no longer buy:

  • Pieces that only work one season

  • Anything uncomfortable “for the look”

  • Trends that don’t suit my life

I buy clothing I want to wear again next week — and next year.

My Rule for Fashion (It’s Simple)

I don’t dress for my age.
I dress for my life.

If it’s linked, it earned its place.
